sikat pala talaga si "Cliff the Investor" Wink
*investing - boring.
trading - exciting Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin lol

*investing - slow but surer way of making money.
trading - you get in and out of a stock faster, depends on the time frame you want to operate in (short, medium term even long term trading). higher risk (sort of) but also higher return? but if you know what you're doing can be a lot more profitable? not so sure but it seems like that way.

*investor - fundamentalist.
trader - can be both but more of a technician than a fundamentalist?

*trading
short term - day/days to 1, 2, 3 weeks to 3 months of trading/holding a stock.
medium term - 3months - 9 months
long term 9months -12months

investing
youre buying a business so you have to give it at least a year to undergo its business cycle to see company earnings. so at least a year of holding a stock.
investors - buy cheap (undervalued) and sell when expensive (overvalued).

traders - they don't know the words cheap and expensive. they only care about trends (timing). they don't care if they're operating at a level where prices are considered expensive already (to investors) as long as they buy at bottoms of trends and sell at peaks of trends.
I believe that Investors uses TA to time their entry and take some profits. They can be looking more on the Weekly Chart than the Daily Chart of the stock. 50 and 200 Moving Averages are used. Why 50 and 200 on Weekly Chart?

Kasi that is known and famous around the world. Smile

mahirap maging investor ngayon dahil napaka volatile ng market.

u should prioritize capital preservation.

pag isipan mo maging trader... this way, madali ka makareact &/or take advantage of market conditions
This reminds me of the old adage:

Everybody starts as a trader . . . pag na ipit, everybody becomes an investor haha! kuha?
