Para sa akin yun magandang pang long term ngayon baka sa future di na ganon kaganda pang long term kasi minsan nagbabago fundamentals nung company. So para safe pili ka yun company na maganda yun management at mataas magbigay ng dividend.

gaano ka long term ang long term? utilities, never goes out of style. companies with groeth expansions, ok din yan. URC SM ako for holdings, MER MWC ako for utilities, PX NIKL ako for mining pero PX lang ang index stock, banks, medyo iffy, EW malaki pa potential, pero non index. sa consumers, SMPH PGOLD, sa energy, hindi ko alam. tignan mo muna kung ano ang timeline mo. isa, dalawa, limang taon?
buy high, sell higher!

I admire your patience sir. Anyway, when you go long term based on fundamentals, do you usually have a target price (e.g., FV)? How do you react when the target price has been achieved already, and what will lead you to continue holding on to the stock? Hope to learn from your strategy. Shy

I don't have TP for the stocks that I'm keeping for long term because I don't plan to sell them for now.. but I will sell if I hear news that the corporation is in financial trouble or until the market crashes like what happened in 2008.

BTW my stocks for long term is about 50% of my portfolio so I have another 50% that I trade so that I won't get bored. Smile
