BUSINESS PROFILE

Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PIP) was incorporated on March 8, 1989 primarily to engage in manufacturing, sale and distribution of carbonated soft drinks and non-carbonated beverages to retail, wholesale, restaurants and bar trades.

PIP is a licensed bottler of PepsiCo, Inc. beverages in the Philippines. It manufactures beverages under brands such as Pepsi-Cola, 7Up, Mountain Dew, Mirinda, Gatorade, Lipton Iced Tea, Tropicana/Twister, Propel and Sting. PIP manufactures and packages its products at 11 production plants throughout the country.

PIP has one associate, Nadeco Realty Corporation, which primarily engages in the real estate business.

Soft drink makers hike profits in Q3

TWO BEVERAGE makers posted higher profits in the third quarter as prices of sugar, a key input, fell during the period, separate disclosures to the Philippine Stock Exchange showed.
