I feel that Philstocks.ph is the industry's best-kept secret.
While wanting our group to grow and become bigger, I'm also kinda wary that a larger user-base might bring about the problems that other online trading portals are encountering.
Here's hoping that the Accord team can meet the challenges of a growing client base going forward.

Let's try this then.
“If a speculator is correct half of the time, he is hitting a good average. Even being right 3 or 4 times out of 10 should yield a person a fortune if he has the sense to cut his losses quickly on the ventures where he is wrong.”

Seems like they are sticking to the three-day processing period for new account holders.

This has the best platform so far. But it pays to be armed before heading for war. Like one should already have a list of his stocks' resistance/support levels because this broker's charts disappoint. COL still has the best charts. Other than that this is one hell of a broker. I love Accord!

Is there a VWAP display? Projected Open and Close price?

I'll open a new account with Accord. Masubukan lang.
---------------
Here's an update:
Oct. 23, Sunday - I submitted the required documents online.
Oct. 24, Monday - Philstocks notified me via email that they've received the scanned and accomplished form, along with 2 valid ID's. But I need to submit the original document to any of their branches.
At 2 PM, their runner has picked up the document. Later that afternoon, they've confirmed that they've received the documents, and I need to deposit an initial fund to activate my account.
Oct. 25, Tuesday - I went to BDO Ortigas extension branch, and deposited a certain amount to the Philstocks Savings account.
When I got home, I sent an email to initialfund@philstocks.ph with the attached screenshot of the deposit slip. They responded,
"Hello Jaydee,
This is to acknowledge the receipt of your proof of initial fund amounting to 75,000.00 php via BDO OTC. Once verified, we will have the amount credited to your trading account upon activation.
We will now submit your account for activation. Kindly expect an email confirmation within 2-3 business days."
Oct. 26, Wednesday - no email notification about my account activation.
This staff from the Philstocks Client Acquisition asked if they could conduct a seminar at our company. I told them that COL Financial and Truly Rich Club already conducted one three weeks ago.
Oct. 27, Thursday - still no news about my account activation or funds.
I called them at (02) 588-1913. I looked for the client acquisition staff, but a woman told me that she's not around. I told her that I have concerns with my account activation and initial funds, and that I'm a new client. She forwarded me to the customer service lady.
The customer service answered, and mentioned that they only received the document last Tuesday and will begin processing the papers today. WHAT?! So if I didn't call them up, they would have forgotten about that? I know it's going to be a long weekend, but come on...
I also mentioned that I've already funded my Philstocks account, and my account has yet to be activated. (Talk about slow processing, and primitive ways of funding an account).
She said that they'll look into it and see if they can process my account asap, and I should call tomorrow.
I think I should have stuck with COL Financial.
Philstocks' only edge is the fancy UI of their website, and mobile app.
-----------
I guess this is a fair review. For those of you thinking of opening an account with Philstocks, go for COL Financial instead, and save yourselves some frustration.
