"Online Broker" BPI - BPI Trade

Buying cost differs from selling cost. If I'm not mistaken, selling cost is a bit higher than buying. Try to post your equation so we can troubleshoot it.

let me try po na madetail sya.
If i buy a stock nanotice ko po na negative kaagad yong profit/loss column.i tried to compute the buying cost :0.25% of the gross sale, 12%vat,0.012 % sccp,0.011% pse fee. I added them all, i notice na parang mas malaki yong nakaregister sa profit /loss column than what i had computed. I concluded na baka kasama na sa nakegister na amount yong selling cost(if i am going to sell it kaagad).i know na may dagdag na 0.5%sales tax sa pagbenta (i did not bother to manually compute it though).

If this is the case, is it safe to say na pagkanag-green yong profit/loss column and i sell my stock, the entire amount is my gain already at di na mababawasan ng transaction cost(selling in this case)?kindly enlighten. tnx.

Tumpak!!

Also, if you clicked view portfolio on your bpi trade account you could find this at the bottom of the page.

NOTE: 'Avg Cost', 'Mkt Value', 'Total Cost', and 'Profit/Loss' columns include commission charges and all other transactional fees.

Hope its clear now!

They announced a website maintenance yesterday, I guess they were unable to complete it successfully. Personally, I feel they should not be doing this type of activity mid week. They can schedule on weekends which would permit more time if needed for cases of extended outage. They're just stupid!

Hi, newbie here... but experienced opportunity loss yesterday when the price was good and I was ready to sell, there was a problem on BPI trade. The site normalized at about past 3:30PM... when the market was already closed.... Now, stock price is low which I regret to loose that opportunity yesterday...
Opportunity LOST!!! I am thinking of a more reliable broker this time.
