Globe redeems bonds

Globe Telecom, Inc. yesterday said it will redeeming its P3.03 billion worth of fixed rate bonds on Feb. 27, two years earlier than the bonds’ maturity date. In a separate disclosure yesterday, Globe Telecom said its executive committee approved the early redemption of the bonds. Said bonds, issued in February 2009, are set to mature in 2004 but have an optional redemption date of February 2012, Globe Telecom said. “The bonds shall be redeemed by payment in cash at a redemption price set at 102% of the principal amount and accrued interest computed up to Feb. 26 to bondholders as of record as of Feb. 22,” Globe Telecom said. In 2009, the telco issued the P3.03-billion corporate bonds in three- and five-year notes, with interest rates of 7.5% and 8%, respectively. The telco previously said the bonds were utilized for its capital expenditures in 2009.

the key to trading success is to focus on how much money is at risk, not how much money you can make.

trading is simple, but it's not easy. if you want to stay in the business, leave hope at the door, focus on specific setups, and stick to your stops.
