Jollibee Foods Corporation

Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) was incorporated on January 28, 1978. JFC's principal business is the development, operation, and franchising of quick-service restaurant under the trade name "Jollibee". In the Philippines, JFC also has as subsidiaries, Fresh & Famous Foods, Inc., which develops and operates, and franchises quick-service restaurants under the trade names "Chowking", "Greenwich", "Delifrance", "Manong Pepe's Karinderia", and "Red Ribbon Bakeshop, Inc.". JFC also has subsidiaries and affiliates overseas which develop and operate its international brands, "Yonghe King", "Chun Shui Tang", "Hongzhuangyuan", and "Lao Dong".

JFC operates its central commissary in Calamba, Laguna through a wholly-owned subsidiary, Zenith Foods Corporation (ZFC). On February 7, 2008, ZFC was merged with another wholly-owned subsidiary, Vismin Foods Corporation, which owned commissary facilities in Mandaue, Ceby, with ZFC as the surviving entity. The merger allowed JFC to be more efficient in sourcing, receiving, manufacturing, warehousing, and distributing raw materials in its stores. The commissaries have a collective capacity to service 800 stores nationwide.

By the end of 2009, JFC had a total of 686 stores nationwide, of which 355 are franchised and 331 are company-owned. There were also 57 Jollibee stores overseas, including the United States, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Brunei, Dubai, Guam, Saipan, and Jeddah.

JFC announced that the acquisition of assets of 20 Chowking stores in USA was accomplished at the end-of business hours on May 27, 2011 California time and 12M USD was paid on May 27, 2011 (purchase was for assets amounting to 16M USD) and the balance will be paid for the next 5 years annually at USD 800K.
Today's RSI is at 37 and year-to-date 2011 RSI low is 23 last Feb. 1, 2011. If JFC will do a further breakdown at its current price today at 85.05, I will take it as an opportunity to buy it and sell immediately when it rallies. I buy an index stock on a oversold condition on a downtrend market.
^^...hanep, pang guru na ang sagut nyehehre Smile

^^Hindi naman, one of the fast index stock is JFC when it recovers especially when it is sold down heavily. So I am happy person when JFC is falling so hard. Big Grin

^^Wow ang cute naman! Thank you Commander. Pambawi ang stock na ito pag nagkaroon ka ng ipit or if you decide to do a cut loss due to wrong decision in market trading. Market fave kasi+ there are always press releases on its Company Development from time to time that may cause a spike upwards. Big Grin

I like to trade JFC but I prefer eating at McDo. Blush
Recovered from intra-day low of 85.75 to 88/share closing price. Big Grin

PD: No more JFC.Tongue
wow congrats ms. ruach, ako ipit pa sa CEB haha
the key to trading success is to focus on how much money is at risk, not how much money you can make.

trading is simple, but it's not easy. if you want to stay in the business, leave hope at the door, focus on specific setups, and stick to your stops.
