Target price /fair value
Hi Panu po mag compute ng target price/fair value?

thanks po
I think that your question is missing some parts. You want the target price/fair value of what stock. Nonetheless, it is nice to see the members engaging in such sort of stuff. It is nice to share the knowledge and experiences with the other fellow traders.
Fair value shows what is actual value of one stock based on company`s financial performance. Target price would be sort of answer to question how much other investors will be willing to pay for that stock based on their estimate. Those are two different values of one stock
It's for sure really depends how company is doing it's services lately. For example many people would want to invest lot of money in AMD stocks in US market for future growth and unlikely in Intel in near future. So there is the difference lies as well.
The cornerstone of any value investing process is an estimate of the intrinsic value of the shares of the companies we own. We call that the “fair value”. When share market prices are sufficiently below fair value we buy. Target prices from Wall Street analysts apply to short-term time periods and often contribute to the prevailing emotions over a particular stock. With a shorter time-frame, sell-side target prices focus on the company’s ability to meet short-term forecasts for the next quarter and year. I hope that will answer all your doubts regarding that matter anyway and will help to differ that two main points if you still do have some questions or something like that anyway for whatever reason and no matter what!
