Janvier, if your an investor ang TP nyan is ang FV value na pinopost ng broker mo. Pero if bumili ka dapat see to it na malaki pa ang upside potential nito. Then check mo then ang chart if trending up na ba ito. A simple indicator such as a 20 or 30 moving average (1 month) will do. If sloping up ito, then uptrend ang stock.

5. Trendlines (horizontal and diagonal)- drawing2x sa chart ulit
6. RSI - not really its primary use pero pwede rin gamitin sa pagderive ng target price. Si Mod Cha yata master nito. hehe Tama ba?
7. Tsimis Analysis - literal to ha, tsimis can become reality
8. And the best measure is SELL WHEN HAPPY.

Try to be objective and heartless as possible sa target exit, including profit level and cutloss. Ayos.

di ko pa gaano kabisado yung charting sir pero ngayon im trying to grind my nose on it...as of now mas comfy ako sa fundamental value and again trying to calculate the value with my ordinary calculator hehehe...exit point lng tlaga problema ko sir kasi yung criteria ko is very unreliable...and sure ill definitely put #8 on the top of my criteria for exiting Smile..

pag short term 15days - 3months
medium term 3months - 9months
long term 9months - 12months

kelangan madetermine mo if short, medium, or long term type of investor ka then learn to draw trendlines ng supports at resistance line sa chart ng stocks mo based sa type of investing term mo.. (short/medium/long) para malaman mo if mag sell kana. Pag nagbreak ang trendline its either you buy more or sell. kadalasan pag nagbreak ang support (support is the concentrated amount of demand/buying interest) , sell na..

example: stock A nabili mo sa 1.80+ may FV na 2.70. its up to you if mag hold at mag wait ka till ma reach niya ang FV niya or mag sell kana pag nabreak ang support trend line mo.. example: nakabili ka sa 1.80 ang resistance is 2.00 so ang initial target price mo is 2.00 or near it.. pag nabreak niya ang 2.00, yung 2.00 ang magiging new support mo at yung next resistance ang new target price niya till mareach niya ang FV niya Wink so pag talagang FV ang target price mo, kahit mabreak ang several supports/resistance di ka magsell until mareach ng stock mo ang FV niya Smile

For reference

UNCHARTED: sa akin naman if the stock is uncharted (meaning lagpas sa historical high or at least heavily resisted high nya) i use the 20-40-60-80-100% rule. for example historical high ng stock ABC is 1.00, tapos ng breakout, i use 20% a sthe next resistance or target price, so sa 1.20 sya. hope this help.

ON GAPS: using gap fill as target, like recently sa MIC, may gap sya then na fill today.

MIC Daily (sept 5). trendline important to watch. gap threat if trendline broken.
