Realty project readied

VILLAR-LED VISTA Land and Lifescapes, Inc. is spending P2 billion to put up additional structures in its midrise residential development Presidio in Parañaque City, the firm’s condominium arm said in a statement yesterday. Vista Residences is planning to put up five more San Francisco-inspired condominium clusters, each with around 400 units, in addition to the seven existing clusters, said Maribeth C. Tolentino, Vista Residences chief operating officer. This brings the Villar-led developer’s total investment in the seven-hectare Presidio to P10 billion, the statement read. Vista Residences is targeting single professionals and young families with studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units in Presidio, with prices ranging from P1.9 million to P3.7 million for studio units, P2.5 million to P5.4 million for one-bedroom flats, and P3.7 million to P6.3 million for two-bedroom units.

the key to trading success is to focus on how much money is at risk, not how much money you can make.

trading is simple, but it's not easy. if you want to stay in the business, leave hope at the door, focus on specific setups, and stick to your stops.

Vista Land on track

PROPERTY DEVELOPER Vista Land & Lifescapes, Inc. hiked its third-quarter net income by double digits on higher real estate sales, prodding the firm to announce that it remains on track to meeting full-year net income and sales targets. The Villar-led firm grew its net income in the July-to-September period by 19% to P863 million from P728 million in year-ago levels as sales, largely driven by Vista Land’s affordable housing segment Camella Homes grew by roughly a fifth to P3.28 billion. “We have had three consecutive quarters of record sales, with the bulk accounted for by our flagship Camella brand.” said Ricardo B. Tan, Jr., Vista Land chief financial officer, in a press statement. This brought the company’s nine-month net income to P2.6 billion, 20% higher from year-ago levels. “We expect to see continued strong sales performance for our company in the fourth quarter as demand for house and lots, particularly in the mid- to low-end segment of the market, continues to be robust,” Mr. Tan said. The company said that it will be able to meet or even exceed its full-year net income and sales targets of P3.4 billion and P24 billion, respectively.

Vista lands Camella suffered damages brought about by typhoon Sendong. Its dumaguete project was flooded but looks to be recovering well. I hope its the same at their Iligan and CDO project sites.
