The entry level of 60/61 is critical considering as Boss Spy pointed out Gigantic shares are listed so the free fall occur. Try to get out at the close as we all know , this is a jokeyed/manipulated stocks. My entry of 57 near its low is also a punters style, of which at least 2 flucts could give me a 3.5 %....Focus Amat on the ticker and act Swiftly...and if not sure...do not GET In please...Heart

Dear AT (Amateur Trader),

I know MRC is a speculative and jockeyed stock. That is why before I entered this stock last March, I studied how the brokers move and that time of study is long. As you can read in my post in the earlier pages of this thread, I observed first before doing the actual buying.

Why I did that? My reason is a speculative and jockeyed stock is a high risk stock. In order to win in this kind of stock, you must study it first. Not only study the technical aspect of the stock, know its business, results of operations etc. After the business profile of MRC which I created, it is underlined there the results of operation for the first quarter of 2011.

If you will back read, it is underlined there that the company is a Net Loss.

Also, I posted as much as I can any development of MRC as soon as I saw it. Boss Spy also did a warning on this stock because it is being hyped and how to detect it using words.

Commander also doesn't recommend these kind of stocks to newbies because it is high risk and subject to a more loss than profit especially if you don't know how to play the game.

I just started trading last year 2010 and I am also new on these kind of stock but I told myself I need to try it out, knowing and calculating the risk but before I did that, I studied the Company to the best of my ability.

Honestly, I am not really happy when you said to PM me regarding this stock because I know that presence of mind, monitoring time, quick decisioning is what is needed when you trade this kind of stock.

Also to borrow from what Arthas said, this is one of the stocks not for the weak of heart.

MRC Allied looking to take back seat in Surigao project

LISTED MRC Allied, Inc. is planning to hold a 49% stake in the earlier announced joint venture it will be forming with an Australian firm to develop mine in Surigao del Sur.

“MRC is looking at a $98-million valuation or 49% participation in the new company that will be listed on the Australian Exchange,” the firm said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange yesterday.

MRC Allied had said it was in talks with an Australian company for the creation of a new company to develop the 3,718-hectare property in the municipality of Marihatag in Surigao del Sur.

The initial valuation of the firm had been pegged at $200 million, according to earlier reports.

In January, MRC Allied entered into a mining operations agreement for the Marihatag property. MRC Surigao Mines, Inc. with P1 billion in capital, was formed under that agreement.

MRC Allied also said yesterday that it has received a letter from Menlo Capital Corp. stating it is retaining its controlling interest in the firm.

Investment house Menlo Capital led by Lucio K. Tan, Jr., holds 87% of MRC Allied.

Shares in MRC Allied closed 14.9% down at P0.57 apiece yesterday. -- Louella D. Desiderio
